my friends said that in philidephia high tops mean a crack head lives on the street and low tops mean that someone died what does it mean in connecticute???

Different depending on the location and type of shoes. I live near a military base where they often throw combat boots over power lines - that means someone is getting out of the military.

In the military means yer enlistment is up and yer out..(free again) you throw yer boots over the lines (preferably at the main gate of the base) Other thann that i dont know... crack heads i dont think have that much initiative.. nor can spare the shoes either.. so that story i would suspect LOL

Military boots means someone is getting out of the service after a certain amount of time served but I can not remember how long.

means some kids have thrown their shoes over the line. Usually because they've heard what you've heard. what drug dealer is going to alert the police to their location. Happens everywhere.

I know around here, in MD, it is a gang symbol for someone in the gang who was killed. Dont know if it means the same everywhere.
