i'm bored too! Don't know if you count this as whacky but i worked with horses for a while and still have my own, sometimes we would go to the pub for lunch and we would go in there in all our horsey stuff, jods, boots etc! Have also been in a super market with horsey stuff on, you do get some funny looks though.

I own some wicked trousers...they are flared and bright stripy colours like red, yellow, blue etc... very loud! I just wish that I could still fit into them !! They came from Miss Sixty I think.

I also have a pair of jeans that have a butterfly that covers the whole of the bum area. The butterfly is outlined in bright colours. I have only worn them once, when I went bowling with my husband... It was a disco bowl night, so they turn off the lights and have ultra violet lighting on. It turned out that my big butterfly glows in the dark, so all you could see was a butterfly flapping it's wings down the alley every time I bowled! Ace!

I'm a child of the 80's, so keep in mind this was actually stylish!
My wackiest outfit ever was a pair of neon pink sweat pant with shoulder straps and off the shoulder t-shirt. I wore it with these really funky white running shoes that had neon pink stars and rhinestones on them. The pants were a fitted cut and suited my tiny figure, and I had a lot of compliments, but looking back, wow! were they bright!

The wackiest thing I've ever worn was a mini skirt with platform sneakers, a pretty blue shirt and a pleather, tan , long jacket. My roommate dressed me like that. And I dressed her just as funky.

At Japantown Cherry Blossom Festivals, I wear antique samurai costume: kamishimo that makes me look as wide as I am tall with the flaring pleated shoulders and matching hakama (coulottes). My oldest one is from the Edo period and is in blue Edo komom pattern. Proper accesories are formal kimono and stiff obi with white underkimono, tabi and zori. Japanese tourists take photos of me every time. My gal Miyuki from Japan is shy and blushes when this happens. She wears yukata and geta with 4" platforms that boost her to 5'4.5".

One time my friend and I went out to Goodwill, bought black suits and ties, and went out as the Blues Brothers. We blasted the Peter Gunn theme with our windows down and got a lot of laughs. It's a shame we didn't have the police car.

Years and years ago, when hippies were at their height and I was 13 or 14, I used to go around in loon pants, tie-dyed grandad vest, bare feet, suede headband and fringed suede waistcoat. I thought I was the bees knees....oooh cringe making now lol!

I bought a T-shirt off truffleshuffle.com and it was never my intention to ever wear it but my mates dared me to on a night out in Hull one friday night.

It's a Karate Kid black t-shirt with a picture of that nasty sense in yellow saying
"Sweep The Leg"

I love it!!!

Got a lot of comments round town as well.
