Could you bring back a beach towel with the German flag on it? When I go on my hols I like to annoy the English by getting up early......

it's is a unwritten law that if a English man or woman goes to Germany they have to mention the war and the fact that we won it!
law states that every pub u goin u need to mention the war at least 3 times throughtout the night.

Be sensitive to people's feelings. It's over sixty years now since the war ended ... there's no need to keep going over it.

Haha....I got really drunk in hamburg and was calling everyone Hitler.....they weren't very amused and I also kept mentioning that the music they play at the train station sounds like the music they played in the concentration camps in the film Scindlers List..........have fun though!! I certainly did!!!

Oh no they are sensitive about the war trust me and for those that arent,,you may get into a horrible disagreement. There goes your holiday and here rises your stress level.

Just dont mention it to your people at work only with the people you know because trust me i live in gemany and only discuss it with friends, oh and learn some of the language (it helps alot)
