Most bars, pubs and clubs are part of franchises (ie, Punch, CPL, Brewsters, Gala, to name the common ones) The council are the ones that hand out permits. They will also tell you about costs etc and what permits you will need, health and safety, staff training and vocational skills (like Investors in People) and what training you will need. You will need stewards (Rock Steady) and you will need interior designers, sign makers, printers, PA staff, cleaners, accountants and admin staff, and loads of money to start with!!

Good Luck!

Sounds exciting...but I would ask someone already doing it..they will give you the real deal....Location is very important...insurance, and sometimes you cant control the type of crowd you may attract. Good luck. Forget about designers first and check into liabilties and legal zoning laws and such.
