My Jack Russell dog, seems to think that I am his real dad, how do I tell him that he is adopted? He is now three years old.

Jack russell dog? buy him a chew toy and dont break the news. the dog will never know. if this is actually a child then sit him down all serious like and tickle him until he pees his pants. then buy him some ice cream and wait four years before telling him.

I think it is best to wait a few more years and then explain it too him. He is a bit young to understand right now. Take him outside and throw the ball around. I love those dogs.

Feed him a bone and a drop of beer and he'll believe anything is heart-felt, nice and genuine

Just be very kind when you tell him! Tell him you'll always love him. If he wants to track his biological parents down then you'll have a problem! I've heard his mums a ***** & his dad's a right dog!

Jsut take him to a quiet place, no distractions and break the news gently. Let him know you still love him and always will
