Do you think we might see the ANC re-instating the death penalty prior to sentencing?

Unfortunately that is the nature of our judicial system. The only court case I have ever heard of and seen been handled speedily was Zumas rape trial. I really don't think so.
To MOLOI: Either you are very idealistic about the death penalty. I was always against it till these things started raping and killing our children. But we will talk again if something like that happens to one of the children in your circle of friends or family. Take Sheldean Human and Anastacia Wiese - what about their rights to grow up safe and live fulfilling lives. People like you annoy me because you seem to think that nothing - no matter the atrocity deserves death. Men and boys - regardless of age - who rape children as young as 9 months don't deserve life. If I could I would have given the order that they are executed in the most inhumane way possible - their victims weren't given a choice!!!!

Ja, neh. Trials of this nature normally take this long. The other thing is that some of the accused escaped at some point.

I don't think that there would be a re-introduction of death sentence, especially as a result of this trial. That would be unfortunate. I'm am opposed to death sentence no matter who the likely convict might be.
