help fix my mp3?

i have a sony nwhd3 and i cant turn the volume up which means i cant hear anything. does anyone know how u can turn it up without pressing the actual volume button or if anyone cud fix it. i live near liverpool

if its sony they have an option called AVLS (or vol. setting)in the settings - its a volume limit and whatever it si set to its the highest your player will go to - try adjusting that if your player has that option

maybe its the headphones. buy an ipod, or a zune. That will fix it!
