Great question.
Its called self defence, fear or ignorance, tell them their point of view is under threat and they are unlikely to win the point by the merits of their arguement so they revert to abuse, shout, trade insults, get angry and the more they are attacked by rational, factual debate the worse they get.
Fear of failure and embarresment, especialy in front of an audience, is one of the most ego sensitive confrontations and can turn your best friend into your worst enemy.
Hope that makes sense!

People who personally attack anyone usually is looking to feel better about themselves. They have low self esteem and in order to fell like have any worth they need to make sure that you feel lower than them. So all they can do is attack, and they will, they will cut down people they know and even people they do not. It is a shame but it what it is.
If you are a person being attacked in such a manner and have good self self worth, you will / should pick up on that right away.

Because in each of the social circles that people move in certain beliefs, attitudes, standards etc are "in". These are part of the identity of each social circle. Most reasonably mature people have a variety of social circles and so are used to mixing with others who share some of their beliefs and not others. They are likely to try to take a live-and-let-live attitude. But some people have narrower lives and may therefore have various beliefs or standards that no-one they interact in a mutually respectful way disagrees with. Such people can come to feel very self-righteous, to the extent even of abusing or attacking others simply because they seem to have a different belief or standard. By the time they reach the stage of personal abuse it will be very difficult for them to regain open-mindedness and objectivity. But we're all human, this is a fault we all suffer from to some degree.

They're just immature. They have no finesse as to how to disagree with the opinion without attacking the person, personally answering a question. I see it all the time in the world around me. I see it in Questions too. They create a question designed to attack the population that will answer it.
My Dad always says," Just consider the source,," and then you won't get upset.

its because they don't have an answer. its called ad hominem and it is a logical fallacy. There is also the fact that some questions on here are nothing more than personal attacks with a question mark on the end.

Because, contrary to popular belief, there is such a thing as a stupid question. People that ask stupid questions waste the time of those smarter than them and thus deserve to be personally attacked.

In your case, it is because you create multiple IDs and ask the same type of conspiracy questions over and over to try to cram your delusional beliefs down the throats of other people. Hope that clears things up for you.

Because they feel threatened by your question, and their self-esteem is poor.
So, attack is the best form of defence, according to such people.
