I saw this show when I was younger but barely remember it. I am unsure if it was a national show or just a show from the Detroit area. What ever happened to the characters on that show?

"Hot fudge holey moley..."

I saw your question and the theme song just popped into my head. It wasn't just in the Detroit area, because I remember it and I've never lived in Michigan.

Arte Johnson was the first host of the show. He was successful both before and long after the show. Most recently, he did the voice of Vermin Vunderbarr on "Justice League".

Ron Coden and Larry Santos were the hosts from season 2 on, but they must have known the producers because neither one had done anything before nor has done anything since "Hot Fudge."

Hot Fudge was a United States Saturday morning children's television series that aired from 1976 to 1980. It featured singing numbers with live actors and puppets, mostly with 1960s and 1970s style songs.

The most famous duo was bearded musician Larry and green fuzzy puppet Seymour, who would sing a closing number together.
