It will show you the BHOs that have taking over your IE and are not letting you change. You have to pick what to delete so take caution. They will be labeled as BHO

If I got your question right, u could select yr homepage without options.
Just open yr page that u'd like to be yr homepage & then click [ use current --> ok ] so yr selected page will be loaded everytime u click explorer.
