hillsborough - was in the car with my dad a couple of days after my grandfather died and i heard the news on the radio.

death of princess Diana - had been out clubbing till the early hours and my mum came into my room to tell me. i was a bit hungover and told her to go away cos she would still be dead when i got up.

September 11th - was at work when my boss came back from lunch and said she'd heard something on the radio. went straight on the CNN web-site, and just watched the monitor completely speechless.

weird how years later can still remember how you felt. hillsborough was the one that affected me most cos i was so much younger and it is quite close to where i live. so seemed really real (if that makes sense) i was only 10.

Nixons resignation:Too young to understand it. I just remember seeing my Dad watch it on TV in a hotel.

Keith Moons death: I was at my friends house hanging out and it came on the radio.I had just bought the "Who are you" album .We were looking at records she had just brought back from the UK for me.

The Los Angeles Riots...because I drove through LA going about 100 on the freeway,by myself, at night and you werent allowed on the roads. Only time I ever saw the freeway empty like that.I could hear sirens and see LA on fire.It was surreal.

I have more but you only asked for 3
