Every since I can recall I have had an aversion to wearing them. Perhaps it is that my feet are rebelious and tend to become unhappy in uncomfortable shoes. I guess they think they haul my butt around everywhere I go, so they deserve to be comfortable. Don't our feet deserve a little respect. What would we do & how would we go without them? However it could harken back to the witches pointy shoes in the Wizard of Oz.

I think they must be extremely uncomfortable, and they're ugly too!
It's weird, we are so conscious of healthy living; healthy food, smoking bans, comfortable chairs, special beds & matresses, special keyboards to prevent RSI, etc, etc, yet most women don't think twice about wearing the most uncomfortable and unhealthy shoes in the name of fashion.

I never ever wear pointy toed shoes or high heels. They are so bad for the feet. I want all my shoes to be comfortable. It is important that my feet feel good in the shoes and it is also healthier for the feet in the long term. Pointy toed shoes and high heels can lead to health problems. I'm going to need my feet my whole life, so I do what I can to keep them good.

I don't understand how people can put their feet in such shoes, on in high heels or any of these fashionable things, they're not even remotely foot-shaped, but many women will rather wear a shoe that deforms the foot than go around wearing shoes that are foot-shaped but 'ugly'. Oh well, to each their own, but I'm not putting them on my feet, that's for sure!

I absolutely love them! Just buy a pair 1/2 to 1 size bigger than your usual size... and put in a cushion (the best is from Baker Shoes...Its cloth on top so your feet don't slide around and rubber on the bottom so it stays in place. Plus its washable!) And if needed buy them Wide.
I wear them to work everyday. Makes me feel in control and professional. (I'm in sales).

I hate pointed shoes!!! Not only are they painful to wear, they make every ones feet look like they are too big for their body. When a woman puts pointed shoes on her feet, she draws attention to them, and every time I see them on a person I always think "Wow, her feet are HUGE!" What woman wants to walk around in shoes that are uncomfortable and make her feet look like a pair of water skis?

They are horrible and who ever wanted to make these "great" styles is a torturer. I hate them and will never wear them. I can do quite nicely without them.

i think they are cute... but i would never wear them for more than a couple of hours just for that reason.
