Really, everything is his way or the highway. Like telling congress what and how to do everything or he'll reject it. Play by his rules or not at all. He is a true American disgrace IMHO.

I will bet my left testicle that during the rise of Hitler that many people spoke out against his Grab for power ,the same as we are now with Bush .
It fell on deaf ears back then and is doing the same thing now .

I suppose you could compare the extermination of Jews with Bush's treatment of the New Orleans people after the hurricane, he didnt care, neither did Hitler. Also they both invaded countries without the permission of the UN.
They are both fascists.

Differences: Hitler was a great public speaker and motivator, whilst Bush can't converse with the average human. Both are/were meglomaniacs on massive power trips. Bush is worse as he makes money for his oil buddies, at least Hitler was thinking of the overall good of Germany. Bush doesnt give a **** about Americans, he is to selfish.

Yawn... I have been hearing this nonsense for 8 years...

NO he does not sound, look, act, dress think or remind me of Hitler...

see that's the thing, it is your opinion, it is not based in fact because i can guarantee you have no historical examples to back your claim.

I could say... Hillary Clinton is like Hitler because he was a socialist too...

or Obama is like Goebbels because he liked propaganda.

or Martin Luther king was like Hitler because he was good at making speeches...

Your argument is as ignorant and historically false as the ones i just made...

you probably have watched a TV show on Hitler, or read something in school and some how you are now a political expert, a historical genius and a master of all things comparable.

Guess what your not.

provide me with even one, ONE piece of historical data that can in any way shape or form prove that Bush is like Hitler politically and I will make up a question just to award you 10 points...

Odds are you can't.

You are supposed to use this board to post real questions not spread personal opinions.

Apparently you know very little about Hitler and Nazism. You would have been killed there for that same statement. That is one great big difference. The other is you would be in uniform in the German army, if your over 15. NO exceptions. BTW in America at that time your statement would have you on the FBI watch list and your phones would already be tapped and your employer notified that you were possibly and enemy conspirator. Unless you are Asian, then you would be in an internment camp.Learn some history then come back.

You obviously are totally uneducated and ignorant about the history of Hitler! AS Benjaimin Franklin said:
" A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still."
He wrote that for YOU.

While I did not vote for Bush either time, and I disagree with many of his decisions, every president, each and everyone has said the same thing and used the power of veto, hes used it less than most. Under Hitler you would of already been in a camp either getting gassed, or worked to death, all your property seized and family tortured, just because you descended. Thus I find the comparison invalid and borer line ridiculous.

I don't like Bush, but I think you are going a little too far with the Hitler reference. When Bush starts putting people into ovens then I'll throw you a bone. Until then maybe you should go back and actually learn a little bit about Hitler before you make another stupid comparison.

Yeah, presidents are NEVER supposed to have their own opinions, is that what you're saying? Does the president NOT have the right to veto bills sent his way? It seems to me that you're mad at him for doing his JOB.

Study history and civics, THEN try to have an intelligent conversation with us adults.

This is exactly why I voted for him. He is a man of principle and refuses to compromise what he feels is right. I would not respect him if he were a puppet. This new Congress is so vehemently jealous of the President's steadfastness, they'll do anything to bring him down. He does what he feels is right. And what is right is not always what is popular.
