Basically I have a 29 day to 39 day cycle.

My last period was 28th Feb.

Yesterday I had a brown discharge, also had cramping. Today I still have spotting/brown discharge, and cramps come and go. This has all started on the 22nd day of my cycle. Could this be implantation or simply an early sign of my period?

I spotted last month and then come on two days later but that was on the 26th day.

Any one had suffered this?

Implantation bleeding usually occurs slightly before or about the time your regular period would be due. It is scanty and much lighter than an a period and is brownish or pinky. What you describe could be this but as you have experienced spotting in advance of your regular period before I think you will unfortunately have to sit tight and wait and see if the bleeding does or doesnt develop. Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Hi Chloe! Sounds exactly like it!

If you take your shortest cycle of 29 days then you might have OV on Day 16 approx and then add to that the time it takes to get to the uterus for implantation - say 7 days - and you're about at the right timing! Sounds like implantation bleeding although I haven't personally experienced it, I've read about lots of pregnant women's symptoms on the 2WW site who have & they experienced cramping & brown spotting like you are.

Exciting! Fingers crossed for you Chloe! xxx

PS: I added a note to my last answer to you!

that happened to me last month but after cramps and spotting for three days af came :( i will say though i did have a positive hpt before that happened so maybe its a sign of m/c or maybe i had a faulty test and it was just my af coming. If it is the right time you could take a test........-yorkshire- you cant just take a pg test the minute you think your having a symptom, sometimes its way to early to test so thats not handy advice!

to be honest cramping and spotting are not normal signing of pregnancy, normal signs are: no period, very tired, feeling sick, constipated, sore boobs but the only way to find out is to take that test!

Yes I have - it may just be an irregular period - which could be caused by sickness or eating and exercise habits that have changed. If it continues and you do not get your period I would consult your Doc just in case....
