I'm a teenage boy studying in the 8th grade and I have noticed somebody in my grade who is trying to become my friend and is following me everywhere I go and trying to approach me and talk to me. But the problem- I really don't want to become his friend and I don't like him, though he's good in school. What do I do in order to make him stop trying to become my friend?

1) next time you see him following you, turn around and approach him. Talk to him.
nb. He may be following you for a completely different reason, but assuming he's trying to be your friend, it may be because he wants something from you.
2) If you ask him directly and confrontingly, he will either back off (what you want, right?), or tell you what he wants.
nb. If it's something other than to just be your friend, you may be able to arrange a mutually beneficial business relationship. you could win big from talking to someone you would otherwise have ignored!
3) If you can't help him, and if he can't help you, say so! right there and then, just say "I'm sorry. We can't help each other. Please leave me alone. OK?" and that's it, problem solved.
4) If he keeps following you, tell him he's stalking you, AND tell him if he doesn't leave you alone you'll report him to school staff or the police.
5) If he continues to follow you after that, do exactly as you told him you would do.

Is there any particular reason why you're being so close minded about this? Perhaps you can give a bit of detail as to why you have no desire to be friends with him. Once that info is established, the plan of action could differ depending on your reasons.

first.. why u don't want to be his friend?? is he has a bad attitude? my opinion are ... if he has a bad attitude like alcoholic, drug, night life, criminal and he still in his situation and being his life style, i think better you keep distance with him. Just being his friend BUT don't ever follow his life style. but if he changed already and really want to left his old life..just help him to face his new life better..be bless =) With who you make a relationship is determines Ur future. second, if u don't want to be his friend cause u dislike him without a logic reason , it's up to you.. not easy to find best friend, u must be a good best friend first! you start staying with a girl ask for help from some girl in your class,this boy will stop following you once your in a girls group,actually he has a crush on you,and as you look very sweet and childish he has developed attraction for you.get this problem solved soon as possible dont ignore him he is following you for some reason .

Tell him the truth that you don't like him and don't want to talk to him. Even if he continues do ignore him. He will stop following you after some time.

you seem to be same as my age. listen, if you don't want to be his friend tell him. don't worry that he will hate you. this problem often occurs with me or my friends

show him that you are not interested in being his friend.. (e.g show him that you are two different persons with different tastes) also confront him and tell him to stop cause its bothering you.
