Do you know peter Weir the director based the uniform, crest and some of the features of this fictional school on the high school he attended in Sydney called Scots college? Just a bit of trivia for you!

It's Welton Academy, Vermont.
The actual school used for filming was St. Andrew's School, in Middleton, Delaware.

I think it's "d", but Mr. Keating does call it "Hellton" early on in the movie.
