Do something nice for someone who needs it, help a blind person cross the road, buy a pasty for a homeless person (don't give them money cos they spend it on drugs), or help a struggling parent with a pram onto a crowed bus or train instead of just leaving them till the end so they can't get on (you know who you are), maybe buy an easter egg for a child who will be going without this easter (a hospice maybe).
You can do anything you like, but please only answer my question if you intend to do something, and I will ask on Monday "What did you do to help a stranger?"
I will do the same and let you know on Monday (if I come across someone who needs help that is).
Please don't give me comments about doing a nice thing, this is not about me boosting my ego, it's about people who need help, and the amount of people I see ignoring them or crossing the road.
Good luck everyone.

Well i was brought up to be like that!!
i.e would go to the shop for the elderly couple.
Help someone with a pram on the bus (been there a couple of times!!)
Give toys to the church for children at Christmas
Give communion dress to the church if there could be a family struggling Etc Etc............
It's just the way i am.
As for coming back to it on Monday all depends on weather a situation arises...if it does i will help

Honestly, It's been a long time since anyone have done anything nice to me, it's very unlikely but there are nice people who probably likes my company. Nothing for a stranger yet.

Most definitely yes.
I have helped people push cars that were stuck in mud and got splattered myself on at least two occasions over the years.
I have also helped many ladies with push chairs up and down flights of stairs, and all for just a thank you and usually a smile of gratitude.
As for this weekend, who knows? I won't necessarily be going out specifically to help people, but if I encounter someone who needs it and I am able to then I will.

I do things all the time for people that I don't know. I've gotten gas for people that ran out of gas, given people rides, gave people money at the grocery store if they came up a little short, and many little tiny things (opening doors, letting people go ahead of me in lines, helping people carry things). It's all about a person's character. Nice people do nice things for total strangers and expect nothing in return. Of course, it is a nice surprise when you get a "thank you" or a smile.

Already done it this morning. Four young people crashed their car. I towed it off the road, made sure they were all ok, contacted parents and breakdown recovery, gave them a lift to respective homes and didn't leave address or take reward. Its a sad old world if we only assist for financial reward. The pleasure in being a useful human being, easily outweighs the monetary gain by only helping if you charge them.

yes i have done few things for strangers...like getting off the bus seat n offer a pregnant or elderly man\woman...then there was this child who got lost in the market...i asked him where his mom was but due to lack of time i handed him to a shopkeeper near by n asked him to look after him till his mom comes...
umm well i've helped animals too...not sure if u would consider it under 'strangers'

I guess. But really in the this day and time do you think that well happen. Look a what happen with Louisiana. Our own government didn't wanna help them. This world is so $ucked, it's sad. It's good that we still have people that will help people in a time of need, such as yourself. God bless you.
