It appears that there have been problems with Pakistan cricket( generally) in recent times What has happened in CWC 2007 is just an extension to the woes they have been experiencing. They had controversy in their last tour to England involving umpire Daryl Hair, they had allegations of drug use of some of their top players just to name a few.Remember we are outsiders looking in....I can only imagine the bickering that may be occuring behind the scenes.There are a lot of discontented folks in the Pakistan camp right now. In th end, the game of cricket loses.

From past few months conditions are hostile for Pakistan team, Darrel hair case, Shoib and asif Doping case Inzamama banned for some ODs while ICC trophy was approaching, Shoaib injury in SouthAfirca, some team conflicts to one and others, injury of shoiab, asif and Razzaq before world cup, Shahid afridi ban for 4 matches ....then Losing match against Ireland , Death of Woolmer and now Inzi's retirement !! few days before the world cup they were not sure whether asif and Shoiab would play or not bascially after soo much torubles they were not fit for the world cup plus some of the injured players were sent to West Indies for this world cup which was even worse ......bad politics by PCB ...A long list of problems...team was constantly in trouble thats why they were very down..constant tension had effected the team performance very badly, the final shock is Woolmer's death ! and now onward they are realy in trouble... !! oh and Yes these days poor team is facing the media ! situation is worse for them !

1.over worked/over played (series after series no rest)
2. no fixed opening pair
3.crappy batting lineup
4.two key players dropped coz of fitness problems(doping actually)
5.over confidence
6.no team spirit and team unity everyone playing for himself
7.the board and selectors never try to learn from past mistakes and finally
8.trying to work in as many as possible advetisements and winning in ads rather on the field
if bob woolmer hadnt died the whole country would have given them such a beautiful welcome that they and the rest of the world would remember for the rest of their lives

Tensions,Contineous watch by officers, their behaviour,drug addiction,money made Pakistan to lose 2 matches and got out of tournment.

Send the team for a good counseling. They will bounce back. They are not a unified team. They need someone as coach who will bond them together

we feel sorry for 1995 champions who were crashed and bashed around in this year's world cup
