in school i hang out with like 20 odd ppl, and there is a girl in there they don't like but we don't no y we've tryed askin them but they wouldn't say, cos me and my 2 of my mates hang out with that girl every1 hates us cos of it, i don't want to lose her cos she's really understandin but every1 makes fun of her for no reason at all when they make fun or her me and my 2 mates stick up to them but she just walks away is it cos they have nothin else to do? i need help

From psychology viewpoint this is typical! A pack of friends is dangerous because its inevitable that they will form cliques and so in order to keep some sort of harmony they need to have a common focus - usually this is a person! You see if the divided pack has someone they can all pick on it gives them something to stick to and "bond" (they feel need to keep large group as it gives them status adn power within the year group). If you think about it - you will find that every group you know has someone they commonly pick on!
The only thing for it is to dilute the 20 people ie break away because when they get bored picking that girl they will move on to new one - an dif your in it - it could be you!

Give yourself some self-respect and don't hang out with such bullies. Be true to yourself, you will lose touch with these people when you leave school, but you will keep your close friends, and through your adult life meet all sorts of people, some of which will become close to you.

i think u should just ignore them and just keep with ur mates dont let them think u are scared of them and just hold ur heads high i was a victim of name calling but i have got over it now cause i showed my bullys that i wasnt scared ov the names they called me
