I have an awesome movie idea that i would like to get funding for to create...who should i talk to without getting my idea stolen from me?

I don't know who you should talk to...but an important thing is to get your idea down on paper. In the US, your idea will be protected the moment it is "fixed" in "tangible form." In other words, type it, save it, print it.

You should either write the script or find someone to collaborate with in writing the script. As an unknown, you'll make more money selling a complete script than from a pitch.

well cant you write your idea out on some legal document and get it dated stamped and signed by a justice of the peace or something to protect your idea, before you go ahead and talk to someone about it
