my mum has carpel tunnel syndrome, she has had injections to help it but they never worked so they booked her in for an operation on it.she then also developed a lump on her ankel that the said was a ganglian and they would need to cut it out so they will combine both operations into one.they told her they will keep her awake through this as she has brital ashma, enphysemia and that putting her asleep could cause a servere ashma attack, she went for the operation this morning and they have now said that they aint sure if it really is a ganglian and need to do a biopsy instead.they are also now going to put her to sleep.it really worried me now.what if something goes wrong,,,you hear how crap hospitals are now and can never put your trust in them

she'll be fine. my mom had the carpel tunnel op a few years ago, she to suffers with severe asthma, she was sore but fine. they know what they are doing, and they'll take good care of her. why don't you concentrate on making the house nice for when she gets backs, and looking after her when she gets home. the lump might be nothing (hopefully) . the earlier they catch any problems the better and quicker they can treat it. hope she is better soon. she's lucky to have such a caring daughter.

Both problems can be handled "Without" surgery

Don't risk your Mom

My daughter had "Severe" problems with her wrist.
Even had to wear braces when she slept.
Could not even wash her own hair.
Cyst and injuries in "Both" wrist.
"ONE" treatment and she has not worn her braces since!
She now works typing no a computer all day and plays softball.Completely normal life!

Whoever gave me the "Thumbs Down" should do a little
research and study up a bit before making judgments.

Don't believe me,contact me and ask her yourself!!!
Her Doctor is in the "Source Box"

Surgery is for when your life is in danger.
