previously i had 2000 which used to hang i now installed xp
then also it hangs i have scanned with symantec it shows no virus,i have checked RAM, Processor and motherboard everything is OK
then where is the problem

too many background processes running. probably u do not have spyware remover software such as spyware doc or adaware ... i would recommend u download Adaware (Lavasoft) from download.com, install and run the scan. remove all the detect components. U may have several hundreds to cause your system to hang... if u scan on a regular weekly basis - it should be more that 20-30 components that crept into your system ...

A easier way is to go to my computer highlight C drive then on top of page in tools go to file option then in view folder open all hidden files by clicking on "show all hidden files" and also un tick "hide protected operated files" then apply then go to your start button then to all programs click on accessories and run disk clean up when you done that just go back and close files the same way above then in the view folder just press restore defaults. That should get rid of any spyware or viruses

Was it doing pull ups ( chin ups ) but had become knackered cos maybe it had done 50 pull ups lol and was mayb just hanging there avin a wee rest when u pop up and see it.

your just jealous init, that ur computer is gonna look good and pull more birds than u lmao

I think that your CPU fan has a problem, in xp cpu is important.

if the temprature is not suitable xp hangs.

move your computer, maby you put your PC in hot place.
