My car was vandalized, 3 tires slashed and paint poured over the window. I know who did it but I did not see him. I called the police but they told me unless I see who did it they can do nothing about it. What else can I do to bring this person up front to admit that he did it. I want to sue him because I had to pay a deductible of $500. get a rental car put gas in it and used it for 13 days. Advise needed . Thanks

Good luck man. That sucks. I had a kid slash two of my tires when I was a teen. He hit the two facing away from my house (little wuss.) But I don't know how to go about suing him and would a lawyer be worth hiring? Your already out $500.

not a dang thing....get your car fixed, pay your deductible...keep your car in the garage or install a camera facing your car and don't forget to have ample lighting so who ever it is can be seen on tape...and if it happens again you have them on video..and you can press charges and sue them that way...don't try to get a pay back...and vandalize his property don't be like him...good luck...

Without a witness or his confession you really can do nothing. I am in no way saying you are to blame, but do nothing to make the situation worse. Steer clear of this person and do not antagonize them. You don't need this again.

Install a camera, caus it may happen again.
