The family Corvidae are an interesting lot of which
Steller's Jay is my favorite but its English Pica Pica
is famed for its omen quality and temper. They mate
for life. Ten are supposed to be for the Devil's own use though one or two would make interesting pets for the
reader as Magpie can be taught human phrases.

i dont believe in them ive seen 2 magpies and had a bad day its just a saying thats all only you can make the day you want it to be and your own luck not a magpie

Thought they were bad luck. If you see a vicar after seeing one then you have good luck. If you see a Nun after seeing one you have double bad luck. It used to be a kids game in the early 40's
