Personally preference. And not everyones defintion of fat is the same. Yeah there are some people that no matter who is saying it they are overweight, but some people say someone who is a size 8 is fat, while some think those who are size 16 are not.

If you don't fancy an overweight person then thats you.

Dawn French there do I need to say anything else! It's their larger than life personality, very attractive.
However you need'ent beat yourself up about it; not finding fat people attractive it' s not supposed to be politically correct to fancy someone. I don't as a rule fancy fat people either, but yes if they have a positive attitude to life (same goes for slim people) and personal confidence that is very very sexy.
By the way I'm 1 to 2 stone overweight (I know I'm not fat (obese)) but I am considered quite attractive.Has'ent in my experience stopped very slim people chatting me up!! Anyway 'Who' says you have to find them attractive ! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Take care have fun.

First of all - what do you mean by fat? - overweight or puffy?
If you mean the second one I regard that although nowadays good body shape is concidered as a real attractiveness, if someone has a beautiful appearance, his or her weight does not affect it.
I have seen a lot of good looking people who look even sweeter in their weight.
But as a matter ot fact the more overweight someone become (100 kiloes and more) the harder to fancy him, since his structure start deformating, loses its freshness etc.
Although I dont think they can thoroughly lose their atractivness!

Some fat people are more attractive than thin or normal-weight people. Attractiveness is not only physical. A fat person may be sexy or charming or funny where a skinny person may be thin and hot with no personality at all. But as others have said, it is personal preference.

you see the thing is with a 'FAT' person you often notice their personality .
I'm not saying that they would be ugly 'skinny' but the thing is there is often allot of health, hygiene and personality disorders associated with being over weight.
I know thru personal experience.
In the end do u want to support someone who puts their appetite before you when everybody clearly knows health is the most important thing a person can have???
-no matter what their reasoning is'?

I fancy a fat person. Wonder if the answers to this question vary by gender...

to each his own. that is your preference. what ever floats your boat and all that other good stuff. why would you even be asking this question if you yourself are not attracted to overweight people? or are you? and you are trying to see where you would fit in, in society. don't be afraid, everybody is attracted, at one time or another, to someone that we wouldn't be normally attracted too.
