That it's making my study habits unhealthy. I'm almost 18, and in my last year of high school in New Zealand. I'm so scared of not doing well this year that all I do is study. I know this is good and my parents should be proud of me, but i'm turning down offers of going out and having fun so I can do all my assignments.

How can I manage my time better so I don't worry about school work all the time?

Also, I have extreme amounts of pressure from my family, friends and my best friend to do well this year. How can I tell them that their pressure is actually having a negitive effect on me?

You could just tell them exactly like you worded it here. That you're already studying very hard, and doing as well as you can, but that any more pressure feels like you're going to have a breakdown and that will jeopardize your studies. That should hopefully be enough to get them on your side. They were probably unaware that their comments were making you paranoid, and thought that they were helping to encourage you. Most likely if you bring up the way you feel they'll figure out a different way of encouraging you.

Tell them that their pressuring you is having a negative effect on you.
All work and no play makes Tom a psychotic mess.
How well do you do when you just study normally?
Were you failing or just average before?
You could ask your teachers and co-students for any tips on time-saving study habits.
Such as, I found that reading a text two times was sufficient. I would read it, then reread it with a highlighter in hand to highlight the main sentence in a paragraph.
Then just before a test, reread the highlighted areas.
Made life so much easier than trying to memorize the entire text.
Don't be afraid to ask for help. And make sure you schedule some "down" time. Your brain can only process so much at once.

do not put all this presure on your self it is really not healthy and you will just set your self up 2 fail you need to have a balance its gre8 that you are studying it really is but you also have to have you time why not just go out once a week with your friend and give your self a few hoursa of study per night dont stay up all night as you need to be awake and alert you need a healthy brain so just try and have some sort of balance and as for every one else you just need to tell them how your feeling ok good luck!!

I don't see what the problem is? You are on your way to a good university. Don't mess it up now.
