The movie left alot to be desired after reading the book. The book is always better than the movie because the author can take all the time he/she wants to write about a character's personality. The movie just doesn't have the luxury of time. Relationships between characters are lost also because the time must be kept short in a movie.

Very bad movie.

Even though it's a children fantasy, and I am an adult, it must have had interesting characters, plot, and story-telling, which it sadly lacked.

I hear the book itself ain't that good. (Narnia movie was bad, not the book) Here the film makers have no scope to redeem a bad story. Akin the case with Hannibal Rising.
