N!cky, the fact is that anyone can find love with any of the Zodiac signs. Like I always say, the stars do not discriminate.
Here are some astrologically oriented tips for you...
Virgo is ruled by Mercury, the planet of intelligence, communication and travel. Typically they love to study and find comfort in planning details. Like all earth signs Virgos are loving and have a bit of patience. Which is somthing that most Ariens do not have. Virgos are very caring individuals. They are as deep and stedy as the earth. The major downfalls in Virgos, are their focus on the minute details and their expectations of perfection. It is good to be detail-oriented, but when you expect goals that cannot be met then you will never be happy.
As an Aries, you are ruled by Mars, the planet of War, Strategy and Passion. You are often intellectual individuals with well known opinions. You are honest and are direct in your communications, which will impress Virgo. You are a passionate being and thrive on creativity. You also are very ambitious and goal oriented. Again qualities that will attract a Virgo. Like all fire signs you are independent, warm and loving. The trouble starts when Virgo's flighty attitude toward showing afftection appears. Aries is not known for their patience and you are sure to let Virgo know how you feel. This can hurt a tender and caring Virgo. When their perfectionist expectations rear their ugly head, you will be sure to tell them what you think and feel.
Both of you will appreciate each others degree of detail, but you, as the Aries must learn that patience will get you everything you want. In the meantime, the Virgo, must learn that noone is perfect and that's a utopian ideal that is ridiculous. The point is that it can work, if both of these things are worked on together as a couple.
Good Luck!

Honesty and a desire for the unadorned truth are virtues you both possess and value, though VIRGO takes ARIES's honest criticism better than ARIES takes VIRGO's.
Some very basic differences in your makeup can make you uncomfortable with each other at times: ARIES tends to throw caution to the wind, while VIRGO worries a great deal if all details are not taken care of first. ARIES acts NOW, on impulse and intuition, while VIRGO wants to think carefully and study the fine print first.
VIRGO is the more self-analytical of the two of you and ARIES is likely to be impatient with this at times. VIRGO also tends to be more giving, and may get into the role of assistant or "servant" to ARIES. Both of you need to make a lot of adjustments in order to accommodate the differences between you. However, you can certainly learn from each other, and the differences in your personalities can be very attractive to you both.

I just found this on a site:
LOVE AND MARRIAGE
Virgo is a thinking individual who lives more cerebrally than physically and Aries is the action packed go getter who does not like to spend too long standing in the same place as there are worlds to conquer. If Aries and Virgo can develop mutual hobbies and habits they will have a common ground for basing a relationship on but without this type of sharing then their life together would become unbearable for each of them.
The relationship could deteriorate to the point where, instead of listening to one another they are caught up in a round of putting each others suggestions and ideas for improving the relationship down. If they do not recognize this tendency and check it early on they will not stand a chance of surviving the personality clashes and will soon branch off in different directions...alone.
Virgos are caring individuals willing to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others and Aries should not grow impatient over this as there is no other sign that is better suited for taking care of someone in ill health as the Virgoan. Sexually Virgo is too ready to please Aries, going along with all his/her suggestions but Aries may feel some should come from Virgo and he/she could become restless.
Bossy Aries will not take kindly to the criticisms of Virgo, even if they are well meant, as they will undermine the Arian sense of discovery and throw the Arian into a depression. If the charts are well aspected for these two it could work, but it will take a lot of effort on both sides.
So it'll take work, but what relationship doesn't?

this is what a website said about u two:
Time is the key word with an Aries/Virgo crush because it will take plenty of it to really find out if romance will work. These two signs appear to have nothing in common – at first. But with a little bit of time and a lot of communicating, when they do find things to share, it can be quite exciting! If these two signs can scratch the surface and dig a bit deeper they just may find a rewarding relationship!
so i hope u know what to do gurl. and by the way i'm an aries
too

No, it is out of the question that it will work.
After all, it makes complete sense that every detail of our lives is determined by hot spheres of burning gas thousands of lightyears away.
It is a law of nature that someone with a certain birthdate can never love someone with a different birthdate (which is, really, the whoe star-sign thing).
You thought maybe gravity was a law of nature? You were mistaken. Gravity is more like an advice to things, that they should fall down. They need not heed this advice.
But your knowledge of virgo and aries is etched in stone... on no account should you seek out websites which would suggest that this combination does work ... based on whatever the writer felt like writing at the time, of course.

Aries + Virgo
Fire + Earth = Lava
The cool, critical, perfectionist Virgo is a difficult kettle of fish for you, Aries. In fact, Virgo is so different from you that you may feel completely at odds with them, even irritated by them. You could also find yourself getting pretty angry with their moral attitudes.
And looking at it from the other side, your fast, furious and impulsive nature will throw Virgo into a complete tailspin. You aren’t too concerned with what people think, and you don’t mind the occasional in-your-face shock tactic. This just won’t work with Virgo.
This is, therefore, not a combination for the faint of heart. Think deeply before you jump into this one.
Although the snapshot above shows you and Virgo as quite incompatible, there’s still hope. You can learn a lot from the order and meticulousness of Virgo: you could benefit by applying some of their practicality and orderliness to your own life.
As with the other earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn, Virgo relates best to the financial and work areas of your life. There are many lessons to be learned by both of you here. If you’re open enough and willing to accept the advice Virgo has to offer in this field, you could learn how to prudently apply your wisdom. And likewise, if Virgo is open enough, they will learn about risk-taking and bringing more vital energy to a task.
If you do choose to work with each other, the combination could be very successful, because Virgo will support you completely. You see, Virgo is very interested in two ideas: service and perfection. You might describe them as fastidious, but you mustn’t be too judgmental.
One big plus is that Virgo will be more than happy to listen to all your ideas, and to take them seriously. They will then home in on them and refine them into something that works in practice. On this level, both of you could be quite surprised at how fine a job you do together.
Your straightforwardness and your honest, unadorned style are very unlike the complex, intellectual and deductive mind of Virgo. The two of you often have similar ideals, but you will present your views and live out your principles in vastly different ways.
This difference in style is also very noticeable in the sexual relationship between you. Virgo is prim and proper — probably overly so for your raw and primitive approach. But remember, Virgo was born to serve, as you were born to lead, so there could be a kind of compatibility between you. Don’t be too quick to jump to conclusions, especially in matters of love — it may just work!
If you do feel attracted to a Virgo, possibly due to some karmic longing, those born in the third portion — between 13 September and 23 September — will be the most suitable for you.
Try to avoid partnerships with those born between 3 September and 13 September. This is a really tough combination.
Virgos born between 24 August and 2 September are moderately compatible, so you might want to give it a try with them.

of course it can still work
your sun sign is a significant but small part of your natal chart
you haven't even taken into consideration your moon and rising signs
theses people that rubbish astrology don't know anything about it apart from the general readings in their newspapers and magazines,
of course the worlds population isn't divided into 12 groups
how many people do you know that are born in exactly the same time and exactly the same place..... i don't know anyone!!
the planets are moving all the time that is why everyones personal natal chart is different......someone born in UK at 7pm will have a different chart from someone born in USA at 7pm
your personal chart is the only one that is accurate, the rest are just a generalisation
The Sun Sign is what most people know without a doubt. It is also (usually) the most obvious part of the personality. The Sun is the conscious self. It is the behaviour one is most comfortable with. It is the every day, fair-weather self. But there is much more to you than your Sun Sign..
.. when emotions run high....
That's when the Moon Sign comes out. We generally react in emotional situations according to our Moon Sign. This is the primal, subconscious self. You may even fantasize about behaving more like that sign, but it may not feel natural to you unless you're filled with happiness or sadness or anger. The Moon Sign also comes out when you feel very safe - either by yourself or with people you trust.
But what about...
The Rising Sign?
This is the most difficult element of the chart to explain, but may be even more important than the Sun Sign. In a nutshell, it is the Higher Self. You came into this life with one of the 12 signs of the zodiac on the horizon. This sign represents your horizon - your aspirations, what you look for in the world, and what you want to reflect. It is not surprising that much of your outward appearance, or the way you present yourself to others is determined by the Rising Sign, (and also by any planets that were rising when you were born - the Sun, Moon and planets rule the Zodiac - so a person with Venus rising is much like a Libra or Taurus rising, and Moon rising is just like Cancer rising, etc.) We want to attract and bring into our lives that which we aspire to. A Libra rising person looks for beauty, equality and comfort - and his/her natural beauty and charm are helpful in bringing it. An Aries rising individual looks for excitement and new challenges. Her/his look of bold determination and fearlessness is conducive to finding it!
Why is the Rising Sign so important? Once you discover why you have the particular Rising Sign you do, you will be on the road to realizing and sharing one of your most powerful gifts.

You "know" you're not good matches b/c of what you read in the astrology.
Love/relationships are what you make of them.
Take a look at YOUR personal situation -
Are you compatible with:
common interests?
likes/dislikes?
religious beliefs?
relationship qualites (i e: communication, trust, etc.)
raising children?
household/employment duties?
sexual preferences?
How long have you known your partner? Take your time. I'm 43 and have just NOW found Mr Right. After our combined failed marriages, hurts, etc. we are totaly taking our time to really get to know each other! We are doing great and our "signs" say we are not a good match, either. My instincts tell me otherwise.
If you and your partner have reviewed these things and "what it takes" to make a relationship succesful, then you have nothing to worry about. Your only worry then, is what you're choosing to believe b/c of what you read in the media.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
