maybe in the 1970's, before the public were aware of what he got up to with children.... now, i think most people feel repulsed by him - i know i do... i was sickened by what he said when he was released from prison.... he said that he wanted to forget about what had happened and just get on with his life...... that's all very well for him, but through his actions, he condemned others to a life sentence.....
