My Grandpa used to all the time when I was younger... I don't even know what it means.

I'm part Polish, and it IS a derogatory name for Polish people. So I've been called a pollock (I think it needs a better spelling so that it looks like it sounds...poh-lock...polock - 'pollock' looks like it would be pronounced 'paul-luck'...sorry)

Where was I...

I've been called a pohlock all my life, but I don't consider it insulting or anything...

But if someone is calling you a pohlock, and your not Polish...they're basically calling you an idiot.

That means you must of said something airheaded or silly. How would you feel if you were a blond Pollock like me? Do you think I could get on dissability for that combo? Whenever my daughter does something funny, like trying to run through the screen door when she doesn't see it, we call her a Pollock. Whenever she won't appologize or she does something driven by pride, we call her a stubborn Indian. Her dad is from India, and she knows how stubborn he is. She loves being both, and sometimes beats us to the punch.

It's slang for a Polish person. I think it's about the least flattering thing you can say to them. I don't think it's too funny, but then again, my friends call me "kraut, sauerkraut, nazi, etc." So, I guess I'd be one who gets made fun of also.
