That would depend on whether you have ever truly been in love and whether you have ever had a reason to hate. I have been in love for 27 years and have hated someone else for equally that time. Both feelings are so different that they are hard to compare. I know my love will last as long as I do and am darn sure that nothing on earth could make me change the hate I feel for the other person so I guess both can be equally as strong.

There is more hate in the world than love, so i'd say hate. But i think it should be love like back in the 60s.

Two sides of the same coin my friend. Can you ever truly hate someone that you didn't first love? There is a difference between hate and dislike. I try not to hate anyone. Hate controls you and therefor by default the person you hate controls you.

Hatred is evil and destructive. Love is flexible and rewarding. If you are seeking a long lasting loving relationship your trust has to be expressed directly from your heart. If your relationship isn't romantic love and more like family love instead, respect can make your love last a lifetime.
