My lipstick will flake up about an hour after I apply it. No matter what lipstick it is, I've tried many (Avon, Revlon, Lancome, etc) and they flake up. Sometimes I mix colors, but they are so pretty... in the beginning! What's up???! What can I do?

I use Maybelline Colorstay and it doesn't budge for oh about 16+ hrs. I wear it to go out to clubs and can drink, kiss, eat, etc. I'm honestly still trying to get it to come off all the way the next day. Just make sure you give the lip color a few minutes to dry and then use the sealer stuff.

In between using lipstick, which you really shouldn't wear everyday, make sure to use chapstick. I use the bonne bell kind.

Are you drinking enough water? Sounds more like a skin/moisture problem. Sometimes, I take a good conditioning lip balm and put it on my lips before bedtime, I also drink tons of water.
