The Mexican league has not been trying to play with young players or trying to develop young stars. I don't know where you got that from. Why do you think that they created the 20/11 rule a few years ago?? So the teams would be forced to play with and help develop young stars. The seasons are short and the teams will go for what seems to be the quick fix and buy an Argentinian , Uruguyan or a Brazilian. They don't want to risk the team to try to help Mexico by developing talent. The problem with "Extranjeros" is that they bring a lot BAD QUALITY foreigners to play in Mexico. How many players can you name that have had a HUGE impact in the Mexican League. The majority come to Mexico and have 3-4 horrible years and they either have them on the bench or send them back to South America or Central America. Sure the top scorers are usually South American, but thats because the Majority of the Strikers in Mexico are South American!! Try to name the Mexican strikers in the League that start. Cacho, Sabah, Bravo, Santana, Kikin......... I can't think of anyone else. The rest are on the bench or are wingers. They don't give Mexicans a chance to score. Thats why our seleccion has a lot of chances to score and only get 1 or 2 goals. Even though we were the top scoring team to qualify for WC2006 with 72 goals, jugamos con equipos moleros como dice el Tuca. I would prefer to allow only 3-4 Foreigners so the teams are forced to only bring top quality players not just anyone that plays in South America. I'm sick of the Castromans, Cuevas, DIDIs, Leandro Gracians, and all the crappy players that come to the league just to collect a check. Look at the guys America, Tigres, Monterrey, and all the teams that waste money on bad players!! While the young talent just wastes away en la cantera. Hopefully the Mexican teams see what Vela, Gio, Guardado, Ochoa, and all the guys from the SUB17, Sub20 have done so they can take advantage of these guys atleast to make money by selling them yo Europe. If it wasn't for Chucho and the 20/11 rule these guys would be making their debut at age 23-26 or playing their careers in Primera A, waiting for an extranjero to get injured so they could be called up to fill in for a couple of games. Yo soy Americanista but I respect what Chivas has done and is doing. Chivas is the heart and backbone of EL TRI. No matter how much you hate them they are the ones that create the players that represent us in International tournaments. AND THEY HAVE BEATEN ARGENTINIAN TEAMS NOT LIKE MANY OTHER OF OUR CLUBS. I STILL REMEMBER THE Libertadores when they scored 4 GOALS ON BOCA!!!! If it wasn't for Chivas who would be playing out there??? And lets remember Chivas has 11 Championships with ONLY MEXICANS!! better than any team that relies on Foreigners even My America. I was so excited in Libertadores when America started 9 MEXICAN players! I would rather have Santiago Fernandez, R. Alvin Mendoza, Diego Cervantes, More Mosqueda playing than Hernan Lopez, Insua, Castroman, Ricardo Rojas!!!
