Put up any Buster Keaton, even when he was drunk most of the time and making two reelers for Columbia, and place it against recent "comedies", starring as excrement eg Adam Sandler, and I'll take the former.

Don't get me started, old chap.
They were brilliant.
Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Three Stoodges, etc., Marx Brothers
How many times have they all been emulated?
