That depends on "from whose perspective" your asking. I briefly glanced at the first five or so answers to this question. Amazingly, all of them female. If I may be so bold as to intrude with, let's just say, the perspective of an "interested party", hopefully, the spears and arrows that are whistling through that question can be "deflected" a little.
First, I concede, we have many faults that are unique to our gender. Without picking the "proverbial" fight, by saying "so do women", I'll simply try to point out a few generalities that might make it worth keeping some of us around.
Generally, we know what we want, and we're easily accommodated. That's NOT always a bad thing. Our "faults" as men, allow women to pretty much, DO whatever they want.
As with all things, there are some males out there who do the rest of us a disservice by not living up to their duties and respecting their women. Please don't misunderstand me... I'm not kissing a*s, here, I just happen to believe that we ALL have our strengths and weaknesses. However, in today's society, as men ( personally speaking anyway), you women scare the living sh** out of us. We've always got to be on the defensive, one never knows when something is going to come at us out of nowhere, and if we're caught unprepared without a prompt and "correct" answer to something (we may or may not know anything about), then it's dust off up the couch time, looks like "I" might be there a while.
On the plus side, the RIGHT man can and will offer comfort, support, make the woman in his life feel justifiably important, all the while, (if properly trained) can find "all the right spots" that result in extreme relaxation.... some of us have been known to cook a "proper" meal, actually, listen when spoken to, and, all in all, be "there" for his woman.
I hope that this is received in the spirit in which it was sent.
P.S. If you know that "YOUR" man is a "loser" dump him. There are a lot more of the sensitive "types" out there than you think. I'm sure that finding the right one (although at times, a daunting challenge), can eventually yield the "catch" of a lifetime. After all, time is pretty much, all we have. Never settle for something that isn't what you want JUST to have something. Those who "settle", are usually, disappointed.

I think everyone's purpose is to make everyone else's life a little better, but particularly for males I seem to get a sense of provide & protect...occasional penis fencing. The latter isn't necessary, just inevitable.
