Eventho my friends think I'm the happiest person they know and any problem I can rise above...I'm sadder than I was 5 years ago because of the death of my mate. Yet, my outlook is the same....positive most of the time with hopes for the future.

5 years ago i was 21 and enjoying the single life and going out with the girls and loving evey second of it.A year later i met the guy who is now my husband with whom i have a one year old daughter with.
My personality hasn't really changed but my priorities have and definately my outlook on life. It's really cool.I wouldn't have it any other way. Before a late night in town for me was 5 to 7am i'm now lucky to get past midnight! But,i had been clubbing since i was 18 so think i needed a change:)

Very different! I had only one child, a great career and a zest for life! Now I have two kids, am a housewife and am bored out of my mind on most days! Wow, five years makes a real difference!

Well 5 to 10 years ago, I was happy, healthy, working,
my mom was healthy and working, my daughter was still with me and going to school...
Now 10 years later, I am disabled, out of work,
my mom is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's,
my daughter ran away from home and got pregnant and married, and I am now living on Social Security
and hurt every day and go see my doctor and take pain pills...
It is not too much fun to stay home from work if you don't feel good enough to enjoy life...
I am tired all the time and don't feel so great...
So if you can do anything about your health, please take care of yourself...
It is no fun to be home with no motivation or strength or energy...

not only did i do a complete 180, i now have a better view of the things in my past that have made me, me. And i would not change a single thing, with out all the trouble i went through i would not be the person i am today

Far more cynical.
Angrier, more frustrated at stupidity of our governments and our ever increasing tax burden, for which the taxpayer rarely sees any benefit.
And I hate the bourgeois trendiness of multi-culturalism and Political Correctness and the hijacking of the education system by socialist ideologues.
Basically I can see through the bullshittt far better.
