As a Kentcuky fan (and one who is a bit upset about Tubby leaving us, reguardless of how much people want to say the fans drove him away) I would say that the most popular pick would be Billy Donovan. He has molded Florida, as basketball team that has always been a 2nd to the football program, into an incredilbe program. Aside from that, he has been an assistant coach to UK under Pitino's wing, so a lot of what he learned as a coach can be very effective for Kentucky.
However, it is a bit unlikely that Donovan will make it to UK, although his contract will allow him to leave Florida for Kentucky. Florida will be willing to throw too much money at him to stay and his recruiting for next year is already looking very promising.
As far as other choices that are looking pretty good for Kentucky; Tom Crean and Calipari. Those seem to the the other top picks at the moment.

Tom Crean from Marquette or Gillespie from Texas A&M are strong candidates for that job.
