Harry S Truman was a pretty good president, maybe a great one. Don't even think of comparing shrub to him.

Looks like you caught me running for the dictionary.

Yes.

I must admit sometimes George W. Bush gets a bit toungetied and lets his Southern dialect shine through a bit. There have not been many more presidents disapproved of.

I haven't known another president to fail to bring relief to a predicted massive natural disaster or to watch the downward spiral of Middle East conflict, mainly in Iraq. At least we can hope for the future.

No more than Harry S. Truman did.

And Truman is now considered a pretty good president.

Go figure.

George Bush has committed a lot of errors and tolerated his Republican colleagueas for mistakes making the Americans believe that he is incompetent.

I think most republican voters are quietly waiting for bush's term to end, the way democrats quietly waited for jimmy carter's term to end. They just can't lead well, and don't make the best decisions.
Carter lost the respect of our enemies, Bush lost the respect of our allies. It was necessary to follow carter with reagan to regain the respect of our foes. It will be necessary to elect a strong democrat to regain the respect of America's friends.

When is the last time they agreed on something for the good of the country?
Oh wait.. they all agreed on the war AND most americans did too.
