What a unique idea. It very well could do save LA that is.
I know a lady who lives near the sea, every day she stood by the sea and she offered a prayer and some offering. When a big tsunami hit, her whole fishing village and villagers died, only her and her family survived.

They had better do it soon, since the City of Los Angeles is phasing out most of its palm trees. They want to replace them with trees that provide more shade and have more foliage capable of purifying the air, and less expensive to maintain.
