my boyfriend lets me use his computer and when i went to type certain letters into google i would find searches he made such as "young nude models", "pre teen girls", "pre teen porn" "young girls", and so on. i was a little weirded out, but i noticed that he does look up 'regular' porn, too, like "teen girls" (well i think this is regular porn. i don't look at it so i don't know much). i shamefully started being sneaky and checking his internet history (i know it is wrong..) and opened a lot of the links to images/sites/galleries of these "young models" and they are children ranging from 7-16ish looking (young looking, flat chested, etc.. clearly pre-pubescent) and sometimes girls that look older, but they are clearly underaged. over time, i noticed he views/downloads these images quite a bit, every day. i accuse him sometimes of being a perv and he says "i only look at porn 2-3 times a week, tops, i am not a perv". i just want to know what is going on. should i be concerned?

the photos are usually the girls in swimsuits/bras&panties/lingerie and sometimes just regular clothing.. with their legs apart usually, in "sexy" poses and sometimes touching themselves.. bending over, etc.. you know. the type of photos you see in maxim and playboy, but with 10 year old girls.

You absolutely need to be concerned. Your boyfriend is sick. It is not normal to want to look a children in any kind of pornographic way. And if he is doing it every day. You need to insist he go to a psychiatrist for this or you need to call the police. Right now he's only looking at it. But do not fool yourself. There will come a time where this is not enough and he'll be doing it for real with children. And it sounds to me like it's not far off. By the way what do you think happens to those children after those pictures or videos are done? Ever wonder what happens to so many missing children in this country? You cannot let this go or you're as guilty as the people doing this.

You get out of there, get away from him and do like I was told and regret that I never did. You get the computer to the cops. My husband did the EXACT same thing. Looked at girls from about age 8 or 10 up to (he says) about 18. Only I also found my own daughter's MySpace profile in his Internet history several times in one night after I found the kiddy porn. His little girls he was looking at (with the exception of my daughter) were all naked. As in NO CLOTHES. This is what he jacked off to. He was never even able to get hard for a real live ADULT woman.

You boyfriend sounds like a sicko. Some men look at porn but not of young girls in puberty, it's disgusting. Your right he is a perv and probably one step away from being on to catch a predator.

I hate to say it, but I think your boyfriend has pedophilic desires.

I went to this question getting ready to assure you that many men enjoy the concept of younger girls, of youth and the whole "naughty teen" idea, but that it doesn't mean anything at all. It's perfectly natural, although a little distressing to hear at first.

However, on reading your details, I can't help but agree with what other answerers have said- this is not normal. The men I describe above have no desire to be with underage girls- the naughtiness of youth and the sort of sexy reputation teens have in our hyper-sexed culture simply make them targets for sexual fantasies, so these aforementioned guys enjoy the whole "barely legal" sites and all that, with women who look young but are clearly 18 or older.

Your boyfriend, however, is looking at girls who are clearly underage. 16 might be permissible, but as young as 7 is clearly delineated as pedophilic. Any pornography featuring people under the age of 18 is strictly against the law, considered child pornography, and your boyfriend can go to jail for being in possession of it, and for it being on your computer. Seriously- this isn't good.

When you accuse him of being perverted, it isn't about the number of times he looks at porn, but rather the content. It wouldn't matter if he only looked at porn sites five times in his entire life- if they are child pornography, it still makes him a pervert, at least in my eyes.

Your best bet would be to dump him or, if you think he's salvageable, to get him help immediately with a therapist, preferably one who specializes in this sort of thing. You can decide if you want to report him to the police, and definitely start to remove the downloaded porn from your computer- else you may be at risk for being in possession of it, too.

You have my sympathies and I hope things work out okay.
