I like it enough,

but I just can't think through it, breath with it, it doesn't get into me yet?

Say, you talk to me, or asking about finance, or cuisine, I can talk about it, and make long comment, but with law subject, how come is so difficult? Will it be better later?

10 pts. for good or detailed answer.

It's all meant to be that way! Well meant! You spend long hours on law studies: outside those hours, you need a break, your versatile needs cry out for a break, for finance, for cuisine, for music, for money making, for foreclosure (not related to your studies), for firefox etc. Recharged you re-enter realms of law, your studies: that way you eventually do well! Later, once you absorb law, once you give it a place in your area of preference and priority (that will happen soon!), it will claim an important place as part of your life: with the other interests still alive, for your own good! It's only the second semester, you have some way to go, yet, for all that to happen! good luck! (law is an excellent area of study, a very good subject: it refines you in a certain way, makes you a leader,if that be your choice!)

Don't waste what you have already learned, If you could
do some volunteer work with a childrens advocate group
or for battered women, anyplace where you could work
and have help learning from those who do know. If all else
fails take your knowledge of cuisine and become a Chef.
You have more and better choices of success than most
people.

Although Law is a complicated and broad field, by your 2nd year something , a specialty of subject matter should have struck your interest by now. Many people don't trust Attorneys and that's not always fair, but if you aren't digging it, and don't find your niche soon, I would blow it off for another career, what you've learned can't hurt you, I don't think.

There is a certain standard to achieve. It evolves, that’s why it lawyers have to constantly be updated. Other than that, once you get the hang of it, it becomes understandable.
