For so called free countries it is amazing how little freedom there actually is when it comes to the media. It stinks of propaganda that throws itself back to the second world war era. Hitler perfected this stuff.

I think a lot of you are missing the point. The point is that the media sanitises what is shown and this helps to curb the anti-war sentiment.

Yes you are right of course, but I think most folk know all that,
and its not just the American media and UK its world wide, always has been and always will be.

Well I'm not going to take a position on Iraq with this answer. All I'll say is that there was plenty of media censorship by the US and our allies during WWII. There was plenty of propaganda too.

The Liberal media and Dems want this war on terror to fail. They hate President Bush and will do anything to take him down. Even by misleading the masses with their nightly newcasts. They dwell on the negative and make up stories to sway the American public. The Hollywood elite is even invloved in these lies.That my friend, is so very sad!

Um I have to say thats an interesting idea. I knew there was media censorship but I didnt really think there was an agenda.

Liberals are constantly filtering news. Liberal Democrat news outlets (ABC, NBC, CBS) avoid covering crimes committed by illegal aliens.
Only independent TV stations will point out that there is a illegal alien serial rapist on the loose. There was one just caught in the San Francisco area last month. Only the independent station talked of the news.
Each year over 9,000 Americans are killed by illegal immigrants. And it mostly goes unreported by our liberal media.
