im only 15 wks and my belly is starting to poke out.

it feels like im trying to poke it out but im not!
its really uncomfortable so i try to suck in. I cant do this for more than 2 minutes obviously. there is never a point where i just feel comfortable. i either feel like im trying to poke it out or im trying to hold it in. Is this normal?

its like my stomach muscles are getting tired from doing one or the other. is this just a part of the expansion of my belly?

just relax. your stomach is growing so the best thing i can tell you is to rub your belly. this helps with the uncomfortableness. i'm only 14 weeks and i'm starting to know what you're talking about. it is uncomfortable, but just relax. sometimes i catch myself flexing my muscles - like a few seconds ago. if you feel that, rub your belly, take a few deep breaths and just totally let your body relax. this truly does help! good luck!!! and congrats!!!

It's completely normal. The muscles are slowly stretching (which is more uncomfortable if you had a 6 pack before pregnancy!!!)

To be honest, it probably won't get THAT much better. I've had the same problem (although I never had a 6 pack! lol). To me it feels like I ate waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much all the time and my stomach is literally pushed out as far as it will go and it is darn uncomfortable (I'm 31 weeks). But unlike when you eat, the feeling doesn't ever really go away.

I know for me, the baby is hogging all the room in there so I get really full really fast when I eat (and being full makes me feel worse) so I try to eat much smaller meals and portions, just more often. Try that...it may help. :)

I'm exactly the same. I've found a smock dress and leggings helps because then nothing is tight around my waist.

Still at the stage where it just looks like I've eaten a few too many pies and not like I'm pregnant, although my bump is definitely more noticeable by the afternoon (probably all that eating I'm doing all the time).

I'm usually quite slim so it's a bit of a shock to feel so fat.

it is your muscles stretching you will go though this for the first few months and then it will go away try soaking in a warm bath once a day it will help stretch things out and help relieve the pain

Yes that is normal. Why are you trying to suck in your belly? You should be proud that your pregnant. Let it just hang out like its suppose to be.

its just your muscles getting use to the pregnancy dont try sucking it in... dont worry girl... everything is normal... just talk to your doctor if the baby doesnt move or you start getting labor pains.. those are the two main concerns you should worry about good luck =]

I had similar sensations. Try wearing supportive clothing, like control top pantyhose - but check with your doc first to make sure it's okay.
