If you are asking is it fair not to allow people to belittle your ambitions, it depends on the amtitions, but in general, I would say yes it is .

Yes it is totally fair,negative people are often very emotionally draining and in some cases can destroy your confidence.It's often imposable to tell people like this what they are doing is wrong as they are both unaware and in denial of what they are doing.My advice is get this person(persons?)out of your life and do not feel any guilt about it as people like this can also be very manipulative.

i think it would just be human nature to avoid people who find fault, and be little u. they may be jealous of u, and it may make them feel less when u are a success at something. means they may have a low self worth. if they can put u down it makes them feel better about themselves.

That depends!

If they are just worried about you, and trying to keep your feet on the ground then no. You need them!!

If on the other hand they just don't want you to do well, then yes.

If you know they care about you then keep them around. They are probably just being over cautious for your sake.
