There probably isn't a website where you can pick and choose the song you want to listen to, at least in its fullness. Of course that would be illegal, but you can listen to radio stations on the web that would most likely play what you want to hear.

For example;

http://www.shoutcast.com/ (just requires WinAmp, which is free)
or some of the AOL radio stations are good, which can be gotten right off of aol.com.
Also live365.com is a good place to listen as well to music.

Now if your looking for previews of songs you want to download or buy, then i suggest cdnow.com.

try u tube most of the new sons with videos are there..
Or download them from www.mp3-center.orgits free
or use hi5 you can listen to many new songs...................
