My girlfriend does that all the time and it gets on my nerves. Every time we go out she would be like "omg look at her shoes they're so ugly" or " Did you see the ugly shirt that guy was wearing?!" etc. I mind my own business and I just think it's rude to look at others and then try to find something wrong with them so you can criticize them. Why are people like that? Low self-esteem?

I know someone that does that too, it annoys as well. I think it is low selfesteem and insecurity.

Yes low self-esteem is part of it. But your friend has a problem thinking that she does everything right. She evidently thinks that everything that she does is perfect.

About the shoe thing, women are almost always very competitive with other girls. Plus she's out with her man, so she's making sure you understand that she is the hottest thing you will ever find. It is insecurity, you should talk to her about it.

wow I feel for you having a girlfriend you can't stand. You should talk to her about it. Tell her that has a person it bothers you that she tends to put people down for no other reason then to have something to say.
