This is totally not firefox's mistake. Web developers are just not adhering to web standards.

Microsoft is the party who does not abide by web standards.

Simply put it this way. If you site looks great in IE, that doesn't make IE any better. On the contrary, IE is not displaying your site as it should.

Firefox is a different way of seeing the world. Not to be overly technical, Firefox employ different ways of interrupting the same thing.

Its much like looking through a prism of glass as you turn it you see different things, much to the same of different browsers and why they interpret the web site different.

They are written by different vendors, so they will interpret the website differently. Now they both should support WC3 in the same manner. It will be minor things such as how frames are displayed or how a flash app starts.

But if the website is popular they try to use universal code so that no matter what browser you use (Firefox, IE, Opera, or one of the others) it should look the same.

Firefox strictly interprets the HTML standard and some web developers make mistakes. That's why Interent Explorer is more popular. It's more tolerant of the way websites are really set up.
