I'm not. But I hate the one about black cats. I think people hit them just to be cruel.

My mom used to say killing spiders was bad luck. I still have a hard time killing them. I would rather pick them up and put them outside.

Hi Kitkat, The black cat is another one i am very superstition about. But i would have to say, Friday the 13th is the one that bothers me the most. I will not go anywhere on Friday the 13th. What do you expect from an Irish woman anyway. But i do believe in superstitions. LOL. A Friend.

oooh good question. I am freaked out most about dead bodies because you remember the person when they were alive and I have seen too many Stephen King movies like pet cemetary. USA is more superstitious than most people might think. why on earth should there be no 13th floor at hotels but most all do not show a 13 floor. The elevator goes from 12 to 14

I'm not at all superstitious....
they're jus sooo silly n stupid and on top of that they've got no proof to them....
For eg., u really can't believe any damn stupid stuff like if a black cat crosses u, u'll have bad luck (that's almost like accusing d poor innocent cat 4 it)
I believe - There's nothing as such as superstitions and i think u agree wid me

Yes! Some of them are;
To have a wish come true using a wishbone. Toads cause warts! An itchy palm means money will come your way. A lock of hair from a baby's first haircut should be kept for good luck. To find a penny heads up, brings good luck. You must get out of bed on the same side you got in on or you will have bad luck. To give someone a purse or wallet without money in it will bring that person bad luck.

I can't split the pole if I'm walking with someone. It drives me nuts! My mom does it all the time so I feel compelled to go back and walk around the pole to the side she walked on, just to avoid "bad luck". There's other stuff, but they're mostly related to my OCD.....

i asked this question a while ago and someone came up with one i had never heard of, to hold your breath when passing a cemetry/graveyard so evil spirits cannot enter your soul!

Passing the graveyard a few days later i suddenly remembered it and held my breath! i did not realise how long it took to pass that graveyard .... i nearly passed out! lol
