Well. women were Jonahs be default. In fact, in older times, it was not a good idea to have women in ships (except passenger ships of course)
It makes sense... just imagine a woman in a battle ship with 300-400 men 4-5 months at sea... not a good idea..

no. it is also a fact that women were always allowed on ships in the olden days, if not encouraged! thats were the saying sone of a gun comes from. but no in general there is no one sex blamed for being a jonah. i have been on many boats and heard many people get called jonahs, men and women. so to cut a long story short even though i forgot the question. i think the answer is NO?
