well first they will think that you act like a guy as you have a lot of them around you or maybe they were just afraid of your guy friends as they think you have a lot of "bodyguards"...hehehe...or yeah because of jealousy...they might think that you will want to be around your friends more rather than him...

It relies upon on what type of guy. If a guy is finding for a real friendship than he won't inevitably gravitate to the gorgeous ladies. men like a female with a recommendations, till they are finding for some thing...else.

Because sometimes, the other guys see you as "one of the guys" if they see you with guys a whole lot of time. Plus, they'd suspect that you know their tricks and lines already and it makes them apprehensive.

for me it's because i act more like a dude because i have only guy friends....guys don't want to date girls that act like guys. they say they do but they really don't.
